Introduction
CodeToEase ("we," "us," or "our") developed Cash Memo Creator to help businesses, shopkeepers, and freelancers generate professional cash memos and invoices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and manage your data when using the Cash Memo Creator application across mobile and web platforms.
Information We Collect and Store
Depending on the platform you use (Mobile or Web), we handle data in the following ways:
1. Business & Invoice Information
- Mobile App: All invoice data, customer directories, product catalogs, and business settings (such as shop name, address, and contact info) are stored locally on your device using secure local storage. We do not transmit or store this data on our servers.
- Web App: Memos and invoices are synchronized and stored securely on Google Firebase Cloud Firestore database under your authenticated account to enable cross-device access.
2. Google Account Information (Web Only)
For Web builds, we use Google Authentication (Firebase Auth) to verify your identity. We access your basic profile information (email and profile image) to secure and personalize your workspace.
3. Device Permissions (Mobile Only)
- Camera & Photo Gallery: The app requests permission to capture or choose a photo (optional) for setting up your business logo on invoices.
- Storage/Files (Android 9 and below): Used to export, print, and save generated PDF memos on your device.
Third-Party Services
We integrate several trusted third-party SDKs to improve application performance, monetize free features, and handle account management. These services may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or anonymous usage statistics:
- Google AdMob: Serves personalized or non-personalized advertisements on the mobile app. (Ads can be disabled by upgrading to the Pro version).
- Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage metrics (e.g., clicks, screens visited) to help us understand user behavior and optimize features.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically captures anonymous logs of application crashes and performance errors to help us debug issues.
- Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases): Used to handle secure transactions and manage premium/Pro upgrades on Android.
Data Retention and Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- Mobile Users: You can wipe all app data and local settings at any time by clearing the app data in your device's Settings menu.
- Web Users: You can log out of your account or delete specific memos. Memos deleted on the Web version are permanently removed from our Firebase Cloud Firestore database.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your information. Business invoice data remains local to your device on mobile, and data transmitted on the Web is encrypted in transit and at rest using Google Cloud Firebase security protocols.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not designed to collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal business data on mobile, we do not knowingly track or collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
