- Media / Storage access (Images/Photos) - to read, inspect, and remove metadata from your selected photos, and to save the cleaned copies to your device's storage.
100% Offline & Private: The app operates entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos, location data, or personal information. Your files never leave your device.
How We Use Your Information
The app uses the requested permissions and information solely for:
- Reading image files that you explicitly choose to select.
- Parsing and displaying EXIF metadata tags to you via the Metadata Inspector.
- Cleansing sensitive metadata (such as GPS coordinates, device information, and timestamps) from the files.
- Saving the cleansed images to your local gallery or folder.
Data Storage & Retention
We do not host or store your photos on any server. Any files processed by the app are stored exclusively on your own device's internal/external storage. You have complete control over these files and can delete them at any time.
Third-Party Services
Our app does not share any data with third parties. It may use standard Android operating system libraries for basic audio/image rendering and standard Google Play Services for receiving app updates.
Children's Privacy
Because our app is a local utility that does not collect, transmit, or process any personal user data, it is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
