VoiceCart ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our service.

By using VoiceCart, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties.

VoiceCart is designed to work primarily offline. We collect minimal data:

• Shopping list data: Your lists and items are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share a list.
• Voice input: When you use the voice input feature, audio is processed on-device by Android's built-in speech recognition and is not recorded or stored by us.
• Shared list links: When you share a list, the list data is compressed and encoded directly in the share URL. We do not store shared list content on our servers.
• Usage analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated data about app usage (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve the app.

VoiceCart uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Privacy Policy to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your consent preferences.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting your device's Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

We comply with Google's EU User Consent Policy and applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) by showing a consent dialog before displaying ads to users in applicable regions.

VoiceCart requests the following device permissions:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required for the voice input feature to add items hands-free. Audio is processed on-device and not transmitted to our servers.
• Camera (CAMERA): Required for the QR code scanner feature to import shared lists. Camera access is only active when the scanner is open.

All your shopping data is stored exclusively on your device. We use industry-standard security practices to protect any data transmitted through our services. Shared list links contain only the list content you explicitly chose to share and carry no personally identifiable information.

VoiceCart is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
